I took up triathlon 8 years ago; I raced on the International Triathlon Union circuit as an elite for 3 years and made the switch to long distance triathlon, as swimming was my weakness. I have found that I have more potential on these distances that favour stronger cyclists and runners.
I split my time as a physiotherapist and as a professional triathlete, trying to achieve #thedream of qualifying and performing at the Ironman World Championships.
Juggling the two has proven to be quite a challenge, but I have found balance in pursuing different passions at the same time :)
If you love what you do, nothing will stop you!
