BACKGROUND

Justin attended Vanderbilt University, where he graduated with a Neuroscience degree. In college he focused on studying and singing, and led his a cappella group The Vanderbilt Melodores to win NBC's The Sing Off.

In 2016, he returned to the Bay Area to begin working, and signed up for his first 70.3 after deciding it was time to get in shape. Without any endurance background, he was 34th out of 37th in his age group that day with a 6 hour 70.3. He was instantly hooked on the sport and has made consistent progress year after year.
